On Saturday, May 21, we are celebrating Harvey Milk Day 2011 and invite you to join us at our school, 4235 19th St between Collingwood and Diamond, in San Francisco.
10am-Noon
Hotcakes for Harvey (join us for brunch of pancakes, fruit, bacon, eggs! $10) in the school cafeteria
11am-5pm
19th Street between Collingwood and Diamond will be closed
We’ll have Carnival Games, Bouncy House, and Entertainment by Harvey Milk Hip-Hop, Mommas Boyz, Funk-Shun, Mixtress Page Hodel, Mysdefy, G-Star
BBQ and fixings
Book fair to raise money for the school library
6pm-8:30pm
Drag Café Dinner show hosted by Ivy Drip, kid-friendly and just $15 adults, $7 kids for pasta dinner and salad and show!
All events raise money for the programs that Friends of Harvey Milk funds at Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy.
On Saturday, May 21, 2011, the Cruisin’ the Castro tour from 10am-Noon will donate 50% of the tour proceeds to our school! The tour meets at the rainbow flag pole (Castro/Market) at 10am. Cost is $35 adults, $25 children 5-12years, under 5 years are free.
